So Anne dropped Zoey off this morning and we went to see momma and they were both very excited to see each other. Zoey was very proud of her Big Sister shirt. We then went up to see Riley and Zoey was very happy to see her little sister. She thought that she was beautiful and so cute.
She had lots of questions about why Riley was behind glass and why she wasn't with us and me and the our pediatrician (who had just finished checking Riley out) answered her. Riley looks good, but when she feeds she almost immedietly has acid refulx which effects her breathing, which in turn lowers her O2 stats. So they are going to get an xray to make sure that everything is ok inside.
I will be bringing Zoey to school and then coming back afterwards and hopefully we will have more information. Some good friends of ours (the Robeys) most recent child dealt with reflux issues, so I know that we have someone with experience that we can call on if there are any issues.
